Ryan Tuchman - Writer/Producer
Ryan Tuchman started his career in New York City with the launch of http://www.interactivescreenwriter.com/ in late 2000. Interactive Screenwriter was one of the first Entertainment Industry social networking websites, acting as a portal for aspiring filmmakers to post resumes and chat online. Soon after the website’s launch Ryan was organizing networking events in NYC. The events soon became the top place to meet other filmmakers and quickly expanded to both Chicago and LA. In early 2001 Ryan started his own production company, I-Productions Inc and created and produced COLLEGE TOURS, a reality TV pilot. He has also sold two screenplays to independent film producers. One screenplay was the feature length comedy entitled SATURDAY sold in 2002, and the other a 60 minute television comedy pilot – CONCRETE JUNGLE sold in 2007.
As a direct result of the networking events Ryan met Mike Evans and he became a partner in I-Productions Inc. In 2003 Ryan was brought on board to Executive Produce the low budget Independent feature film SATURDAY. The film went on to win “Best NY Feature” at the NY Independent film/Video Festival. In 2004 Ryan shut down Interactive Screenwriter in order to focus full-time on producing his own Film/TV projects. To date he has written 6 feature length screenplays and together with Mike Evans has written an additional 4 scripts that they are currently developing to be produced.
In 2007 I-Productions Inc merged with Director/Producer Simon Leibovich of SBL Media to create the new production company, Loop Films Inc. Loop Films Inc is eagerly awaiting the release of its first project 100 BLOCK, a high-concept documentary shot in Vancouver B.C.
